Ethical AI Workflow for ESH Professionals
A practical introduction to AI built around the two things ESH professionals need first: a working ethical framework and a complete, validated workflow.
What participants do
- Apply ethical decision-making aligned with the BGC and BCSP codes to AI-driven OEHS scenarios
- Distinguish appropriate from inappropriate uses of AI in OEHS work
- Build, validate and stress-test a working micro OEHS tool, such as a hazard banding app
Participants leave with a working tool, a repeatable workflow and an ethics framework they can apply across their practice. No prior AI or programming experience is required. A full-day version was presented at AIHA Connect 2026.
Audience: mid- to late-career OEHS leaders (CIH, CSP or equivalent) who want to lead responsible AI adoption in their organizations.
